Issue/Introduction


With the Adminui configured to connect to multiple policy servers, policy store objects are not being displayed in admin ui for some Policy servers.
Some connections are working fine. 

In the Server.log for the adminUI the following message is observed. 

2020-01-03 11:44:55,161 ERROR [com.ca.siteminder.framework.xps.security.AdministratorRelationship] (default task-63) Failed to fetch administrator record for user: [#####] CN=#####,OU=Test,DC=Example,DC=net: com.ca.siteminder.uiagent.UIAgentException: Cause: com.ca.siteminder.rpc.rpc.SystemError: AGENTAPI_FAILURE 

 

 

Environment

Release : 12.8x

Component : SITEMINDER -POLICY SERVER

Resolution

Increase the default timeout in the AdminUI for the connection in question (see Administration UI Server Dialog)

Under Administration/Policy Server Connections 
Modify the policy server experiencing the connection issue.
Under 'Advanced" increase the timeout value. 
Log out and back in to the AdminUI and test the connection in question.
