Delete Data Source Button Is Greyed (or Grayed) Out

Issue/Introduction

The Delete Data Source button is greyed out and not selectable when trying to delete a data source.

Environment

All supported releases

Cause

The role right "Delete Data Sources" is disabled by default for Administrator. 

Resolution

1. Login in as Admin or a user that can edit Role Rights. 
2. Click on Administration from the menu
3. Click on User Settings, then Roles
4. Select the user Administrator and click the Edit button
5. Scroll down until you see DX NetOps (older releases it is Performance Center) under Menu Set (first column)
6. Select the DX NetOps (or Performance Center) and click on the Edit button
7. Under the Available Rights column, you will see the roll right Delete Data Sources
8. Select it and click on the right arrow key and then click on OK and then Save. 

Now you can delete the data source. 

It is advisable once the data source is deleted, then go back and remove the role right Delete Data Sources.
