Issue/Introduction

Possibility to find, if there is a way to have each (LDAP) user that is RDP’d into the server have their own login credentials for a DB while leaving the portal using the generic ID

Have these questions:

1. Generic User changing to Corp EID
   what component can break in the TDM application
   how to mitigate that risk.
2. Can FDM have LDAP authentication for db profile connection?
3. Can GTSubset have LDAP authentication for db profile connection?
4. Can Javelin have LDAP authentication for db profile connection?
5. Can TDM Portal have LDAP authentication for db profile connection?

Trying to find different options/possibilities.

1. Generic User changing to Corp EID what component can break in the TDM application how to mitigate that risk?
  A User should not break, depends on if LDAP or one you define.

Please refer to section "User and Group Management" section in the documentation of the version you are running.

2. Can FDM have LDAP authentication for db profile connection?
Yes, (SQL Server)

3. Can GT Subset have LDAP authentication for db profile connection?
Yes, (SQL Server)

4. Can Javelin have LDAP authentication for db profile connection?
Yes, (SQL Server)

5. Can TDM Portal have LDAP authentication for db profile connection?
Yes, (SQL Server).

The User that starts the Portal service is the only one that can be used
