How the TPF - CA1 interface works ?

Resolution

There is no direct interface from VM - TPF operating system to CA1.

TPF writes to tapes, a job runs and updates the TCDB to take the tape out of  scratch status, a second job runs to update the EXPDT out into the future in the TMC, DSN and other information needed. 

The synchronization between the ATL/VTS and CA1 will be done via the ROBSCR=YES in the TMOOPTxx of CA1.
