Issue/Introduction

There are several ways to test the OData connection, including MS Excel. This article will cover the steps to connect to ODATA from Microsoft Excel

Resolution

1. Open Microsoft Excel and go to Data > New Query > From Other Sources > From OData Feed
2. Enter the Data Warehouse OData v4 Endpoint URL. This is found in Administration > General Settings > Data Warehouse OData Service
3. Click OK
4. Click on Basic link on left hand side
5. Enter user name created adding tenant name to the user name and enter password
6. On left-hand navigation menu, select the authentication type. Select 'Basic'
7. Enter the <clarity_username>|<ODATA_AUTHENTICATOR> and Clarity password
8. Click Connect.
9. The DWH tables display.
