Resolution

This article provides troubleshooting steps and possible solution to the issue where the objects get stuck in 'Waiting for SYNC' status. Please note that of the steps below do not resolve the issue or you have different symptoms, please create a ticket with Automic Support.

 Troubleshooting steps:

1. All the SYNC objects are processes by RWP, so the first step is to check is at what state RWP is at (Work Process for Resource Calculation). To find out which WP is RWP, please take a look at 'Role' column in Administration Perspective in Automation Engine Management -> Processes and Utilization in AWI.

2. If RWP is running, check the latest log file located in AutomationEngine\temp folder. In addition, check Utilization in Administration Perspective in Automation Engine Management -> Processes and Utilization in AWI.

3. If RWP is at 100% or close to it, check MQRWP table on your database by executing the following statement "select COUNT(*) from MQ1RWP". Execute the following statement twice minutes apart from each executions.

a) If the number of MQ1RWP is decreasing - let RWP catch up. You can speed this process up by stopping clients if that is a possibility. Let the number decrease on it's own - it will take some time.

b) If the number is increasing - double check the logs and check what RWP is doing. If there are any locks on the database, release those. You may have to restart RWP

If you are not sure what to do, please create a case with Automic Support.
