Issue/Introduction

This article will show you how to subscribe for product notification on Broadcom Support Portal.

Resolution

 

 

If you would like to receive product notifications for things like: new product releases, patches, or critical alerts, follow the steps below to get started.

 

  • Log in to support.broadcom.com




  • Once you are logged in, select the appropriate product division: 




  • Click on "My Tools" and select "Subscriptions" as shown in the picture below:



  • A new screen below will appear, scroll down the list and select the products that you would like to receive notification or select the top box under each area to receive notifications for all of your entitled products and click on “Submit”.



  • Critical Alert: Defined as a high impact and/or pervasive software problem that has been determined to be critical to the operation of the product, or major impact to the customer's environment, or may negatively impact a large number of customers.

  • Product Advisories: Defined as a moderate or low impact and/or non-pervasive software problem that has been determined to affect the operation of the product in one or more of our customer's environments.

  • Release Announcements: Defined as notifying customers of product life cycle (GA, EOS, EOL, Compatibility Matrix, feature releases). 

  • Product Update: Defined as potential security risk, vulnerabilities and available remediation's that affect customer's environment.
