Issue/Introduction

In configuring a new 12.1 Web Viewer install, and after a successful CCI connect test, the Configtool throws an exception during DRAS Discovery - returns nothing

Environment

Release : 12.1

Component : CA OUTPUT MANAGEMENT WEB VIEWER FOR ALL PLATFORMS

Cause

DRAS was not properly configured.

Resolution

DRAS Server name may be no more than 8 characters long. This customer's DRAS server name was 14 characters. Reducing the DRAS server name to be 8 characters resolved the problem.
