This article provides guidance on steps to take when running into issues with the Agile Central (Rally) / Clarity Integration

1 Review the bg-ca.logs and/or check the Job Logs for errors.

See Accessing the app-ca.log or other Clarity Logs for steps on how to get the logs for both On Premise and SaaS Customers.

If nothing is found in the bg-ca.logs, enable debugging for Rally / Agile to see if that helps in pointing to root cause.

Search the knowledge base / self service for any known issues based on errors found in the logs.

If the job was working and stopped working (particularly where it's hung or stuck), restart of bg service can help.

If you’re seeing issues post upgrade of Clarity, check to make sure required items have been installed for the Agile Addin in Administration→Studio->Addins→Agile Add in

It's recommended to be on the latest Clarity release, as there have been defects/enhancements related to the Agile Central Integration in later releases.
