Rally: How to BULK enable email notification for all users

Issue/Introduction

Is there a recommended method for enabling email notifications for all users in Rally, without having to manually touch each individual user profile? 

Resolution

We have a custom application that would work for this.  It is called "Custom List".   To install it, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to your dashboard and select the gear icon in the top right of the page. 
  2. Select "Add Application" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select the "Custom List" application and select the "Add" button below the app to add the application to your dashboard.  This will add the application to the bottom of your dashboard.
  4. On your dashboard scroll to the bottom of the page to see the newly added "Custom List" application.
  5. At the top of the Custom List application, select the gear icon for the application (different than the gear icon for the dashboard page to add applications).  This will take you to the settings for the application.
  6. There is a dropdown menu named "Type".  Select "User" from that dropdown menu.
  7. Select the "Save" button.
  8. At this point, you can add a column to the Custom List application for the "Email Notification Enabled" field.  This will allow you to see the field setting for each user.
  9. I would recommend using the filters in the application to filter for the Users you would like to change.
  10.
