Where can I download the Web Server monitoring plug-in to monitor a web server like iPlanet?

Issue/Introduction

I would like to perform Web Server monitoring on my Web Server. Where can I find the plugin for this on the Broadcom Support portal?

Environment

APM Infrastructure Agent 10.7.0 SP3

 

Resolution

To access the Web Server monitoring using the Infrastructure Agent, you need to download the agent itself. Here are the steps:

1. Login to the Broadcom Support Portal

2. Go to Download Management
In the Search, type 'Wily' and then select 'CA Application Performance Management (APM / Wily / Introscope)'

3. From the List, select click on:
CA Application Performance Mgmt Agent MULTI-PLATFORM, 10.7. SP3

4. Under Component search for 'Infra' and you should see:
CA APM Infrastructure Agent r10.7.0.0 SP3
GEN500000000000909.tar

You can download from there.

Once downloaded, Open the GEN500000000000909.tar file and then the Infrastructure-Agent-10.7.0-unix.tar.gz file. Go to the apmia/extensions/Webserver-monitor directory. This is the Web Server monitoring plugin for the Infrastructure Agent.
