Issue/Introduction

Everytime we make a change in Service Desk it is not shown in Service Point. For example, a new category or a new KB document.
Each time we have to run the pdm_es_rebuild_index.bat in the search server to see the new changes. Even if we schedule the rebuild at night it is unacceptable to wait for the night to apply the changes.

Environment

Release : 17.3 and higher

Component : XFLOW INTERFACE FOR SDM

Resolution

xflow_installed option is not installed in NX.env but shows as installed in the application.

If this option is not installed, then es_ebl Search Daemon processwill not run. To install it:

Log into SDM > Administration > Options Manager > General:

  • If the xflow_installed option is set to NO, set to YES > Save Changes > Restart SDM Services
  • If the xflow_installed option is set to YES but the NX.env does not show it: Deinstall this option > Install It again > Restart SDM Services.
