Issue/Introduction

We have an important threshold profile that is not alerting when devices exceed the specified limits.

Cause

For unsynced components like CPU and Memory, you need "include children" checked to include them in threshold event monitoring

Environment

CAPM 3.x

Resolution

For the group that is applied to the threshold profile make sure the "Include the children of managed items" check box is checked.  After doing this, unsynched items will be evaluated, and you will get the event when the threshold in question is breached for the appropriate window and duration, as defined in the threshold profile
