Is setup for FMID CFF6F00 required for the installation of CCS r15.0 BASE Component?

Issue/Introduction

When installing CCS r15.0 BASE Component, is it necessary to set up to install FMID CFF6F00 using JCL AW003ALU and AW006MKD?

In addition, the introduction JCL members AW003ALU and AW006MKD are samples for ZFS. Is there any sample JCL for HFS?

Component : CCS390 -  COMMON SERVICES FOR Z/OS

Resolution

AW003ALU and AW006MKD are required to use Java to z/OS Service for use with the newly introduced FMID CFF6F00.

If there is no requirement for the components included in CFF6F00 at your site, using AW020RCB, AW030APB and AW040ACB, the execution of AW003ALU and AW006MKD is unnecessary.

For AW003ALU and AW006MKD, samples for HFS are not provided.
