One of our UI server (we have three UIs) is consuming a lot of memory (12Gb) and CPU (70%), while the others servers the CPU utilization not exceeds 30% and the memory 6Gb.
The cause for this high resource consumption is due to LDAP integration in EEM with BaseDN as "DC=abc,DC=MyCompany,DC=net", this is organization root server. The EEM server might face severe performance issues as each user has to be queried through root DC as there are multiple OUs and users spread across multiple OUs.
If EEM is configured with a specific OU then SOI UI works fine
Service Operations Insight (SOI) Manager - 4.x
EEM experts suggested following...
1) Disable group cache at Global Group Configuration (by default Application level Group cache is disabled) in EEM UI as shown below
2) Update \CA\SC\EmbeddedEntitlementsManager\config\server\server.xml
To reflect paging being enabled by changing
3) Use the port 3268 rather than 389
4) Restart “iGateway” service and then “CA SOI UI Server” service
