Issue/Introduction

How to tell if there are any UDFT (User-Defined Function Table) in my CA Datacom/DB environment?

Cause

CA Datacom 15.1 PTF SO08017 has SMP/e Hold Action with steps to take for any UDFT.

Environment

Release : 15.1

CA DATACOM/DB SQL

Resolution

The User-Defined Function Table (UDFT) in a MUF can be found from this SQL query:

SELECT *
FROM DDD_TABLE
WHERE SQL_TYPE = 'FCN'
;

The UDFT name is in column PRIMARY_OCC_NAM.

Here's sample output for UDFT named DICKUDFT:

SQL_TYPE,                         <FCN>,
PRIMARY_AUTH_ID,                  <SYSADM
PRIMARY_OCC_NAM,                  <DICKUDFT

ENTITY_TYPE,                      <FCN>,
SECOND_AUTH_ID,                   <
SECOND_OCC_NAME,                  <
DD_BASE_ID,                       <  >,
SEQUENCE_NUMBER,                  <1>,
DATE_ADDED,                       <060519162244>,
DATE_MAINTAINED,                  <060519162244>,
BLOCK_LENGTH,                     <184>,
RECORD_LENGTH,                    <184>,
DB_RELEASE_LVL,                   <151 >,
DD_RELEASE_LVL,                   <151 >,
