Issue/Introduction

A Data Collector configured with 16 GB of RAM and 8 cores (default minimum) is working at a capacity of close to 100%, but does not consume all resources.

Release : 22.2.x/23.3.x/24.3.x

Resolution

Broadcom recommends no more than 500,000 polled items per DC (depending on the resources and sizing):

So there are 2 options in this scenario:

1. Retire elements, unpolled or otherwise, as per:
   
   TechDocs : DX NetOps 23.3.x : CAPM - Delete Components That Are Not Present
   
   
2. Rebalance to a new DC, as per:
   
   TechDocs : DX NetOps 23.3.x : CAPM - Rebalance the Load on Data Collector
