Issue/Introduction

Does the niscache at the robot ever expire? We have this situation and want to know how long to wait for the niscache to expire to fix this:

On server test1 I create an url response profile/probe with the url www.example.com This will create an extra device called “www.example.comWhen I delete the profile/probe on server test1, I should be able to delete www.example.com afterwards. If the device www.example.com still gets created, I would suspect there is a device still creating it which we can point to and then delete the entry of it with MCS. If there is no visible device in MCS creating this, but it’s created from some sort of cache on server test1, then I think this is a bug.

Cause

- NA

Environment

Release : 9.2.0

Component : UIM - DISCOVERY_SERVER

Resolution

The niscache (and files) never expires -> you could setup a job that uses pu and the callback. Here is a post that may help you.
