Issue/Introduction

/etc/profile is different between 12.8 SP1 and 14.x.

 PIM r12.8 SP1:
   test -r /etc/profile.CA && { CA_SECTION=ccs; export CA_SECTION; . /etc/profile.CA; unset CA_SECTION; } # Added by Computer Associates

 PAMSC r14.1 CP01
   CASHCOMP=/opt/CA/SharedComponents; export CASHCOMP
   And also, /etc/profile.CA does not exist.

Why is it different?

Environment

Release : 14.1

Component : PAM SERVER CONTROL ENDPOINT UNIX/LINUX

Resolution

/etc/profile.CA is configuration for license module(lic98).
And then /etc/profile is updated for including this file configuration.
PAMSC does not have this component. So, It is not update in /etc/profile.

And also, There is no affect in this product since license module is not used both version.
