Issue/Introduction

 

There is a requirement to limit the access from a specific ip address and user to read_only

 

 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA LDAP SERVER FOR Z/OS

Resolution

Currently you cannot limit read only access for a user from a certain IP address.
Either the user has read only access or it doesnt.

You cant give a user read only from ip 111.111.111.111 but update access from 222.222.222.222.
Either you have read access or update access for the user.

You cant give them different access based on IP address.
