Issue/Introduction

My three node vertica cluster is down and won't start up

Environment

Release : 3.7

Cause

expired password for dradmin

Resolution

_{Reviewing /opt/vertica/log/adminTools.log we noted the dradmin password had expired.  As a result we reset the dradmin password on all 3 nodes with the following command: # passwd username}

_{After resetting the password we ran the following command as the dradmin user, from /opt/vertica/bin: ./admintools -t start_db -d <DB name> -F}

_{After doing that the database started up}
