Top Secret Top Secret - LDAP

Issue/Introduction

Are there any problems install CA LDAP r15 on a disaster recovery system with a different processor?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA LDAP SERVER FOR Z/OS

Resolution

CA LDAP for z/OS doesnt need an LMP key.

It is considered a component of CA Top Secret or CA ACF2 and is free.

CA LDAP is kind of useless without Broadcom Top Secret and Broadcom ACF2.

As  long as you have an EKG for the new processor with Broadcom Top Secret or Broadcom ACF2, you should have any issues installing and running CA LDAP on the new processor at a disaster recovery site.

To get a EKG key, please open a ticket with the licensing support team for all Broadcom mainframe products on casupport.broadcom.com support website.
