Issue/Introduction

Upgrade Question on going from v12.0 to v12.1.  How to upgrade to Output Management Web Viewer 12.1

 

Environment

• Output Management Web Viewer 12.0, 12.1
• Java
• Apache Tomcat®

Resolution

No. There is no migration path from 12.0 to 12.1 except being able to use the same database if external or export values if internal 

• Make copies of your properties files. 
• Uninstall 12.0. 
• Install a 64 bit JAVA 
• Install 12.1 which will include a new version of Apache Tomcat®. Bring up Apache Tomcat® after the install to deploy the product. 
• After configuring the product apply the latest cumulative maintenance build and Tomcat
• If  you are running Tomcat as a started task, update the JCL for Apache Tomcat®
