Issue/Introduction

Executing any of the AutoSys commands yields the following error:  

CAUAJM_E_00179 Unable to load the CA Secure Sockets Adapter shared library dynamically. Process terminating.

Library "ca2_32" has not been loaded

Workload Automation AE 11.3Platform - Windows.

Resolution

The error:

is most often caused as a result of someone attempting to run a command where the proper environment variables are not set. Please make sure you are using an AUTOSYS command prompt when you try to run AutoSys commands. Not just a regular DOS command prompt. The library mentioned in the error, ca2_32.dll, should be located in the %CSAM_SOCKADAPTER%/bin directory. If you are in an AutoSys Command prompt that directory should be included in the PATH.
