Issue/Introduction

Listing Directory (Folder name) in the informatica tab of the Infomatica job does not return any results.

Behaviour:
1 Create an Infromatica job
2. In the Informatica Tab, select the correct repository “connect to repository”
3. Click on the Folder icon and see the selection of the folders (“Folder Name”)
Expected: directory is listed
Actual result: “No results found”

Resolution

Try starting the Infromatica agent outside of the Service Manager. If that resolves the problem, the issue is within the user profile/environment on the OS side. Make sure the environment and user that starts ServiceManager/agent are set up correctly. Check bash_profile if that is the case.

Additional troubleshooting steps:

1.Run the command outside of the product on the problematic agent: e.x.: /usr/local/Informatica/10.2/server/bin//pmrep listobjects -o Folder -l SStSS

The directory should listed within milliseconds.

2..Restart Tomcat

3. Check LD_LIBRARY_PATH, INFA_HOME and other env. variables
