Issue/Introduction

After rebooting the SpectroSERVER system without shutting down the Spectrum processes first, some of the Spectrum processes are not starting automatically as expected.

Environment

Release : Any version of Spectrum

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

Possible left over run time ticket files in the $SPECROOT/lib/SDPM/runtime directory

Resolution

To verify if the issue is with left over run time tickets, shut down ALL Spectrum processes including processd. Then check the $SPECROOT/lib/SDPM/runtime directory for any rtt files. When processd is shut down, there should be no rtt files in the $SPECROOT/lib/SDPM/runtime directory. If there are, remove these files and start processd. Check for the Spectrum processes to be running.

If you still do not see all of the expected Spectrum processes running, please open a case with Spectrum support for assistance.
