Rally /Agile -- What are the consequences of disabling Custom HTML apps in a subscription?

Issue/Introduction

If a customer already has Custom HTML apps throughout Rally, will disabling the Custom HTML app subscription option remove those apps?

The action would be to uncheck the box on the following screen.

Resolution

Disabling or unchecking the 'Allow Custom HTML apps' option will affectively remove the app from the page or render it inaccessible.  The following message will then appear on any page with a Custom HTML app.

"This app has been disabled by your subscription administrator."

The Custom HTML app will also be removed from the app catalog.

If the check box is subsequently checked to re-enable Custom HTML apps, those apps added and configured on Custom pages or the Dashboard will return to their original state by saving the settings and refreshing the page.
