Building a test or lab system and only want to migrate the custom Certifications from the production Data Aggregator to the new lab or test system.

Building a lab or test system to match production.

All supported Performance Management releases

Moving files between systems where both run release r3.6.x or newer.

  • All custom files in r3.6 and newer systems are stored in (default path) /opt/IMDataAggregator/data/certifications/custom/
  • Ensure all files in the sub-directories are transferred from the same location on the existing system, to the same location on the new lab or test system.

Move files between systems where the originating system runs a release lower than r3.6.x and the target new lab or test system runs a release r3.6.x or newer

  • Releases older than r3.6.x stored the custom Certification files in (default path) /opt/IMDataAggregator/apache-karaf-<version>/certifications/custom/
  • Releases r3.6.x and newer store the custom Certification files in (default path) /opt/IMDataAggregator/data/certifications/custom/
  • Ensure all files in the old location and it's sub-directories on the existing server are moved to the correct new location on the new lab or test server.

NOTE: Ensure in both scenarios the correct user, group and permissions are assigned to the files after they are moved. The installation owner for the Data Aggregator should also own the files.

In both scenarios, after the files are place in the correct locations restart the Data Aggregator dadaemon services. Once it is in sync again in Performance Management, the migrated Certifications should now appear in the UI.
