VSM deploy to the Portal with invalid characters cannot be removed or reset

Issue/Introduction

In the Portal there are two virtual services that cannot be managed.  Whenever someone tries to stop, reset counters, remove VS, etc. get a message that the  "action has failed " . 

In looking at the  VSM, there are invalid characters in the name.  ie: + and /

Quality+prevent.vsm  , Secure/file.vsm

 

How do we remove this from the Portal ?  

Environment

All supported DevTest releases.

Cause

Invalid characters in the name.  ie: + and /  caused the issue

Resolution

Go to DEVTEST-HOME/vseDeploy folder in the VSE server and remove the .mar files and .tracking files from  VSE_2013 folder.   

Re-deploy the models again with a Valid naming convention.
