Rally - On-premises: LDAP users not synching in 2.0

Issue/Introduction

After configuring LDAP in the 2.0 platform, no new LDAP users are synchronizing to Rally

Environment

Release : 2.0, 2.01

 

Cause

The synchronization process only runs a single time when the LDAP settings are initially configured.  If there was a mistake or a typo, then it will not be able to synchronize again.

Resolution

The 2.1 build of on-premises will allow for continuous synchronization.

The workaround until then is to create Rally users manually and configure the users' LDAP username field in Rally.  This will allow them to login with their LDAP credentials.
