Issue/Introduction

How to get the License ID for an existing Rally On-Premise 2.0 appliance?  

 

When contacting the Provisioning team for an updated license for Rally On-Premises 2.0 (or above), provide the License ID. This ensures the team is able to correctly identify the license that needs to be updated. 

Environment

Release : Rally On-Premise 2.0

Component : ACPREM

Resolution

As the ops user execute the following command on the Services VM:

replicatedctl license inspect | grep "\"ID\":"

 

This command should return a value such as this, which is your ID:
"ID": "<LICENSE_ID>",
