Issue/Introduction

We’re underway with migration to OMWV 12.1.

 

The CA-DVWEB database from 11.5 needs to be migrated to 12.1? This is all new to me, so I want to make sure I provide correct information when I contact our Database Server Support group. 

Environment

Release : 12.1

Component : CA OUTPUT MANAGEMENT WEB VIEWER FOR ALL PLATFORMS

Resolution

You export Web Viewer DB tables from 11.5 and then Install 12.1 Web Viewer allowing it to create a new DB. You then import the XML files which resulted from the 11.5 export into the new 12.1 DB.
