Issue/Introduction

Userid has been suspended due to invalid passphrases,  message

'ACF01013 LOGONID ??????  SUSPENDED BECAUSE OF - PASSWORD VIOLATIONS' was issued,

Issued 'MODIFY ACF2,RESET(??????)' generates ACF00145 COUNTER FIELD PSWD-VIO WENT NEGATIVE; IT  WAS FORCED TO ZERO, and user is unable to log in with passphrase

How can the password-phrase violation counter in ACF2 be reset?

Cause

The command to reset password phrase violations is 'F ACF2, RESETPWP(logonid)'.

Resolution

To reset the password-phrase violation please use 'F ACF2, RESETPWP(logonid)'
