Alarms sync issue in UIM and OC

Issue/Introduction

Sometimes all the alarms present in UIM are not reflecting in OC. We have restart every time to sync these alarms.

 

Environment

Release : UIM 20.4

Component : Nas

 

Resolution

NAS syncs the alarms when the suppression count is 100 (by default) i.e., for an alarm if the count reaches 100 db gets synced.
To change the suppression count please add a key nis_update_skip_factor = any number (50 or 10) based on how early user wants to sync alarms in db (as db operations are costly so keep some reasonable number)in raw config under setup section.
