IMS logon gets ACF2 message ACFDC207

Issue/Introduction

An ACF2 logonid cannot sign on to IMS and needs to have the correct privilege bit to sign on. How can the ACFDC207 error be resolved?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

The ACFDC207 message is stating that the logonid does not have the proper authorization.

The way to check for authorization is to list the user and the IMS SIGNON record and make sure the user has the authorizing attribute. 

The following command will list the IMS SIGNON record to find what AUTH bit is needed to access IMS. LIST the logonid to see if the AUTH bit indicated in the SIGNON record exists on the logonid.
