JOBA is an EXTERNAL job in APPLA, its successor JOBD has DUEOUT specified; and JOBA's home job is in another application APPLB, and JOBB is an EXTERNAL in APPLB, it releases JOBA.
Why the DUEOUT of JOBD won't be propagated to JOBB in APPLB?
APPLA doesn't know that JOBA waits for JOBB. Even the two EXTERNALs should match as expected, it's possible that they may not be matched, if there are other runs of the JOBs.
In other words, the DUEOUT propagation can't be done cross applications.
