Issue/Introduction

 

While doing some research and new adaptions to Metric Grouping and Alerts onto APM, I noticed there were some services affected for a particular alert that I know nothing about (sa_status).

 

 

 

 

Resolution

The sa_status is caused by the anomaly alarms generated by OI on metrics that have no associated vertex. Since they don’t have any vertex associated with them they get associated at the agent level and show up on the APM UI. Even a single metric that is not associated with a vertex and having an anomaly will result in this. Since these anomaly alarms stay on 45 day we keep seeing them.
