DX NetOps Performance Management installer stuck on installation type option

Issue/Introduction

When installing Performance Management the following error was seen after choosing installation type:

[3]+  Stopped          ./CAPerfCenterSetup.bin LAX_VM /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.201.b09-2.el7_6.x86_64/jre/bin/java

Environment

New install of any release

Cause

noexec on tmp

Resolution

Because there was noexec on tmp, we have to change the location of tmp that the install uses

• mkdir -p /opt/tmp
• export IATEMPDIR=/opt/tmp

After doing this the install was able to move past the error.
