Is there a setting that will have a JCL Error display as a critical exception condition?

Resolution

CA View does exception condition checking via the SARXCTAB table (//SARXCTAB DD ...) found in the SARSTC task.

 

In a SARXCTAB table, having "/DEFAULT HIGH" will allow a JCLERR (JCL error) condition to rise among the top of the exception conditions, as only System abends and User abends have higher significance.
