SAP adaptor configuration without X Windows

Issue/Introduction

The administration guide asks to use casapjmacfg to config SAP connection. Casapjmacfg needs X Windows. My customer has no X Windows server.

Can we copy from an existing environment?

Component : UNICENTER JM ADAPTER FOR SAP

Resolution

You can copy the SAP configuration files from an existing environment.
Take a tar file of following directory "/opt/autosys/SharedComponents/registry directory"

You can also run casapjmacfg as a non-root user as X-windows might be allowed for non-root.
If so, be sure that you have write permissions on the directory to allow to edit configuration

chmod -R o+w /opt/autosys/SharedComponents/registry
