Spooler probe displays no logging in Infrastructure manager

Issue/Introduction

Have issue on Spooler probe where there is no log displayed and shows error as below in Infrastructure Manager

 

 

 

Environment

Release : 8.51 / 9.x

Component : UIM - ROBOT

Resolution

Behavior varies for hub robot and regular robot

If it is also a hub, the hub will take up the function of the spooler and so you will not see even pid for spooler .This is default behavior.

Also when you click this spooler probe you will see message "hub spooler is not configurable" ,so you will also not see a spooler process by itself on a hub.

On a normal robot the spooler functionality is done by the robot and is configurable.

Also no log messages seen for spooler in IM if this is hub robot as all information will be logged in controller logs

In the above scenario this was hub robot so was expected behavior
