The CA LDAP Server is returning : "SAFrc=8, RACFrc=12, RACFReas=12" which is passed back through LDAP from RACF when issuing the RACF LISTGRP command, what causes this error?

Resolution

The "SAFrc=8, RACFrc=12, RACFReas=12" returns code can be caused by the RACF subsystem being inactive in the environment.

To address the error activate the RACF subsystem.
