CA EZT PTFs RO93009 & SO00718 failed to apply

Issue/Introduction

After trying to apply PTFs RO93009 and SO00718, both PTFs are marked as ERROR in the target library. The link editor gets the following errors during the apply:

IEW2456E 9207 SYMBOL GetMain UNRESOLVED.  MEMBER COULD NOT BE INCLUDED FROM THE DESIGNATED CALL LIBRARY.

IEW2456E 9207 SYMBOL FreeMain UNRESOLVED.  MEMBER COULD NOT BE INCLUDED FROM THE DESIGNATED CALL LIBRARY.

IEW2456E 9207 SYMBOL InitOptionsTable UNRESOLVED.  MEMBER COULD NOT BE INCLUDED FROM THE DESIGNATED CALL LIBRARY.

Resolution

SO00718 and the corresponding SO00717 are needing RO93009 and the corresponding RO93008 to APPLY:

Example: DEPENDENCIES:
       SMP    IFREQ:        SO00717
       SMP    PREREQUISITE: RO93009

It is a requirement that all 3 of these FMIDs be installed:                 
CBAAB60   /* CA Easytrieve Runtime */                   
CCL2B60   /* CA Easytrieve/Plus Compatibility Library */
CA03B60   /* CA Easytrieve Compiler */                   

If the CA03B60 is not installed, this will cause problems with SMP maintenance.

Per the CA Easytrieve Software Engineering Team, there is no plan to redo that maintenance to include any IFREQs.  Please install all 3 FMIDS to your SMP/e installation and the fixes should apply successfully.
