Issue/Introduction

Top Secret v16 PTF SO08125 is for the following enhancement for the TSS COMPATIBILITY TO RACF RESTRICTED ATTRIBUTE                               

                                                                             

ENHANCEMENT DESCRIPTION:

Add TSS compatibility to the RACF RESTRICTED attribute (RSTDACC). The update to the attribute will allow users resource access, based on their 

user record and profile permissions. Acids with the attribute RSTDACC will be restricted from ALL RECORD permissions.

 

What happens with lpars that share security files if one lpar has this ptf applied and the other one doesn't and the RSTDACC attribute is added to an ACID on the newer level lpar?

Resolution

SO08125 has to be applied on all systems that are sharing the security files.
