Issue/Introduction

When a WOB is set to run a job on a server, and no USER parm is used, what is the user that is sent to the server by default?  Is it the same default user for Windows and UNIX agents? 

Environment

Release : 11.4

Component : CA Workload Automation System Agent

Resolution

If no USER parm is specified in the WOB definition in ESP, then ESP will NOT sent any user by default to the agent on the server.  The agent will choose a default user based on the WOB type and agentparm.txt settings.

You can set agent local securty to prevent security violation when wrong USER ID or missing USER ID is specified in WOB definition on ESP side, see more detail on the doc link below:
