In order to use ZIIP in IDMS, various conditions must be met which are documented at zIIP Exploitation. If certain modules are loaded from an unauthorized load library, ZIIP will be disabled. Different messages are used to indicate that this has occurred, depending on the type of module. If these messages are not defined in the dictionary, then only the name of the identified module is listed in the CV joblog and so it may not be obvious that this is a ZIIP problem.
Release : All supported releases.
The various messages used to identify the different types of modules:
DC016106 identifies system nucleus modules and sets ZIIP=N.
DB347060 (added by RO92366) identifies database procedures and system mode SQL procedures and sets ZIIP=U.
DC283918 (added by RO92366) identifies user exits and sets ZIIP=U.
DC283919 (added by RO93622) identifies a nucleus module being reloaded and sets ZIIP=U.
