Whenever we launch CA PAM client, it starts checking update.
Is there any way we can configure it not to check updates and just work?

It is possible to disable the update check process but it is not suggested as it becomes difficult for some companies to manage the client software themselves. This can cause sporadic issues if the client software version does not match the server version. See (Optional) Disable PAM Client Update Checking in the user manuals for more information.
