Combining rows while exporting with OM Web Viewer 12.1

Issue/Introduction

A user would like to export a report, but combine rows into the same cell while exporting. Does OM Web Viewer support this?

Basically, the report is made up of multiple rows. Every other row has a policy number on it with some information and the row below it is more information about that policy. They would like to combine those rows into one cell.

Environment

• Output Management Web Viewer 12.1
• Microsoft Excel

Resolution

Unfortunately no, the OM Web Viewer Export action does only a row by row, column to cell export. You would have to either generate the report so that the two items are on the same row before you export with OM Web Viewer, or combine the cell contents in Microsoft Excel after the Export is complete.
