Issue/Introduction

Maintenance has been applied to the target libraries.  The CEMELOAD, CEMEOPTV and CEMEMAC0 libraries were updated.  Is it necessary to run CEMCCONF again, and or the CEMCMDMP and CEMCMRST jobs?

Resolution

There is no need to re-run the CEMCCONF job unless the holddata specifically states to do so.  Also, if it has been confirmed that the previously mentioned three libraries were the only ones updated from maintenance, and that none of the USS directories were,  those modified libraries can just  be propagated  to the runtime platform.  The CEMCMDMP and CEMCMRST jobs are a good way to ensure the target libraries and USS directories are propagated to the deployed runtime platform without any libraries or directories getting missed,  but not necessary if the updates are limited to a few libraries.
