Issue/Introduction

Why does the SARINIT DEFMODE parameter shows only five values (DEFMODE=xxxxx)?

View - Release 12.2 and Higher

Cause

With the implementation of View 12.2 PTF RO94022, there is the ability to set the SARINIT JOBMODE=... parameter. 

With a default of JOBMODE=NO, setting SARINIT JOBMODE=YES will enable JOB mode.

Resolution

An initial run of SARINIT against the database may only show five values but starting with PTF RO94022, SARINIT DEFMODE allows six values (xxxxxx) 

In order to be able to see the six values, run SARINIT by adding a sixth value (for example, DEFMODE=DYYYYY). 

In subsequent SARINIT runs, six values are displayed for the DEFMODE parameter.
